The UCI competition license is not compulsory but it confirms that you have an individual accident insurance via the federation and this license. Only the UCI license holders are covered in an individual accident on this event. If you do not have a competition license at the UCI, it is up to the participants to guarantee themselves for this type of dammage.

If you do not wish to subscribe to this insurance, you certify that you are covered by personal insurance.

Pasta Party - Saturday at 7:00 PM

The Galibier Challenge is evolving and offering new services for participants. A pasta party is organized on Saturday evening, accompanied by a concert. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy a friendly evening before meeting again at the starting line the next day.

This Galibier 2642 jersey is made in the Czech Republic by the Kalas company.

The ELITE Spinn cycling jersey is one of the best-selling products.
With a classic cut, it is made from a very pleasant material which
meets the highest demands.

Weft knitted polyester material, developed for highly functional use when pedaling. Double-layer structure, made of ultra-light fabrics, with a special microfiber inner layer that effectively wicks away sweat to the upper layer. At the same time, the Spinn material is very breathable and allows for a very comfortable fit.

1- SNOW CONDITIONS INFORMATION

Depending on the snow and weather conditions at the Col du Galibier, which may lead to a significant avalanche risk or a halt/delay in snow removal operations, the Departmental Council and the Prefecture may require the organizers to set the race finish at the Galibier Tunnel, 1 kilometer below the pass. This request may be made at any time before the event.

2- CANCELLATION INSURANCE

Cancellation insurance is offered on the following page. It covers 80% of your refund up to 72 hours after the event.

If you are unable to attend the event without having purchased the insurance, the organizer will not offer any refund or deferment to the following edition.

3- COVID-19 INFORMATION

Each participant registering for the Galibier Challenge agrees to accept and comply with the government measures in effect for the event on the day it takes place, whether those measures are known or unknown at the time of registration.

NO REFUND OR DEFERRAL WILL BE POSSIBLE IF THE EVENT TAKES PLACE.

If the Galibier Challenge is canceled due to Covid-19 or another pandemic, all registrations will automatically be deferred to the following edition free of charge or refunded upon written request before June 30th.

Registration and its validation constitute full acceptance of this information, as well as the race rules, without reservation.
